At SLK we take our breeding to the highest level we can. That is why we have developed a comprehensive breeding program, that incorporates extensive DNA and OFA health testing, as giving our dams the high quality of life through our CARE program. 

We want to produce dogs that are “Calm but Ready”. Meaning that we want a ton of desire and focus and drive for retrieving, but also, we want a dog with an “Off Switch”. That will calm down in the house and is quiet and steady in the blind.
